Software, made in Botswana since 2010.

Dottess (Pty) Ltd is a Botswana software company that builds and operates enterprise fintech and business platforms for institutions across Southern Africa.

01Our story

16 years of building for this region.

Dottess began in 2010 as an enterprise systems and solutions consultancy in Botswana, building bespoke software for the institutions that run Botswana — trade unions, medical aid schemes, asset managers, micro-lenders and corporates.

Over a decade of those engagements taught us the same lesson in different costumes: the region's institutions share deep, specific operational problems — payroll-deducted collections, instalment lending, multi-branch operations, regulatory administration — that global software handles badly and spreadsheets handle worse.

So we productised. Today Dottess develops and operates DeductIT, DeductIT Loans, Business Assist ERP, ProcARO and RaaS on the Dottess Cloud Platform — and still runs the engagements with the same team discipline the consultancy years demanded.

02How we work

Three values, kept since day one.

Team work

Systems this critical are never one person's work — we build alongside our clients' teams, not at them.

Innovation

We productise what we learn, so every engagement makes the next one — and the platform — better.

Accountability

We operate what we build, under SLAs with defined objectives. When it's our system, it's our responsibility.
